Meet Madoka Murakami

As an Oakland local, Madoka has always been proud of her Bay Area roots. This feeling of pride was especially strengthened when she returned to her hometown after six years of living in SoCal, where she moved away to attend UCLA.

To her, what's beautiful about the Bay Area is that it's a true melting pot, not only of racial and ethnic diversity but also of the blend of locals and transplants from all over the world. Someone once told her that they noticed in the bay that people of all different ethnicities and backgrounds mingle. while other metropolitan cities have diverse groups of people co-existing in the same city but separately. She believes this is a big reason why so many want to call this their home.

In the year 2020, when the entire world collectively experienced a time of uncertainty for the future, she decided to pursue her career in real estate. Madoka has always held client-facing roles because she loves making human connections. Because of this, she thought how great it would be to be able to help people navigate one of their most important milestones in life. getting their dream home. She started as an assistant at an independent brokerage, where she learned the nitty gritty of the real estate world, and lo and behold, the industry is far from the glamour one might see on TV; you get down and dirty to get the job done, and every day is unpredictable. But she soon found out that the gratification at the end of the tunnel is unmatched.
